the mother turtle leaves the sea only to give birth. She swims to the beach, scoops out a shallow hole in the sand with her flippers and lays 70-130 eggs - each one about the size of a ping-pong ball. Afterwards she scrapes the sand back to cover the eggs, then she goes back into the sea.

About two months later the eggs hatch and the young turtles head straight for sea. Somehow they know that they must live in the water and not on land. This is called instinct.

it's not easy for the mother to give birth and also the baby to survive...

so, we must appreciate it...=)
